EMA Awards & Recipients

Congratulations to the Environmental Youth Alliance. The EYA is the successful applicant for the EMA 2008 Environmental Grant. Ms Samantha Charlton accepted a cheque on behalf of the EYA for $2500 from EMA President Michael Herald on April 16, 2008 at the EMA Annual Workshop. The grant money will be used to purchase native plant material and to partly fund the installation of a pond at one of the gardens stewarded by the EYA in Vancouver. ENVIRONMENTAL GRANT OPPORTUNITY 2007 - $2500 Winner Semiahmoo Heritage Trail. The grant was used as financial help to build an information kiosk where people can learn about the Semiahmoo Heritage Trail. Please click here to read thank you letter. For more information on the trail click here.
