Vision & Objectives

The EMA of B.C. (formerly known as the ici EMA) assists businesses to effectivelyanticipate and respond to environmental challenges with well thought out environmental management practices and policies.  Members include corporations in many different business sectors, ranging from British Columbia’s largest organizations to many smaller companies with diverse environmental issues.  Regardless of size and business sector, member companies have the common interest of requiring sound environmental management, remaining current, understanding new developments as well as exchanging ideas and experiences.

VISION:

•     To  encourage  education,  share  knowledge  among  members  and  create  a  forum  for environmental management issues.

OBJECTIVES:

•     To provide a network for the generation and exchange of information and ideas among members.
•     To serve as a key resource of environmental information for members.
•     To address existing and emerging environmental issues.
•     To promote cooperation, communication and understanding among members.
